if you have a ball mouse at the bottom you will see a rotating plate with a hole through which u can see the ball. turn it on the direction it is said and take out the ball and clean with some soft solutions or water.
else if you're having a optical mouse brush off the dust on the light glowing at the bottom.

-twist the cover in the buttom of the mouse
-get the ball out
-clean it
-if you are a girl thn you have little fingers: you can put your forefinger inside the hall and start scratching the rollers while rolling them
-but if you are a guy then your fingers are large and the mission will be harder ... you can use your little finger to to scratch the rolers
good luck ... i will get you a new mouse on yur birthday

All you need to do is take off the part around the ball on your mouse then clean the ball part itself with a damp cloth then dry it off completely replace it and snap it back together don't forget to unplug first!!

try upgrading to an optical mouse or laser mouse, it won't cost alot and it's more accurate compare to a trackball mouse.and it doesn't need cleaning.
if you insist on using the trackball mouse,
make sure your working environment is clean , at least your mouse pad is free from dust.

I remember roller ball mice.... what a pain in the butt... buy an optical mouse. You never have to clean it and it always works perfect!!

Simple. Just open it and clean the ball and rollers with normal spirit, after unplugging from pc or with pc in power off condition
