There's no way in hell the US can attack Iran. Even if Bush wanted to, we have over a hundred thousand troops bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bush is looking to resolve this diplomatically with sanctions, but China and Russia are in bed with Iran so we're basically stuck between a rock and, well you know what...

If, the US invaded Iran, we'd most likely invade from two directions, from the east (Afghanistan) and west (Iraq) since our troops are already over there...sounds pretty good, but have you seen the size of Iran...it's massive. A ground invasion would be folly.

Even if we attacked Iran with all kinds of munitions greater than shock and awe, the results would be hum ho at best. Iran has cleverly built it's nuclear facilities around heavily populated areas which would result in massive collateral damage. They've also hidden a lot of their facilities underground, and the US military has no idea if bunker busters would even make a dent, and to start with, US intelligence doesn't know every location. Bottomline, airstrikes would simply delay the inevitable.

The Iran situation isn't something to be taken lightly.

GW Bush is an idiot and we need to get rid of him now sooner than later. (I am a pacifist.)
But the Iranian president has all but said that he intends to 'wipe Israel off the map' once he gets enough nukes.
So to prevent the genocide of a people (Again!) and prevent the use of nuclear weapons, I can see that the governments of the world would and should together act to use force to save millions of lives.
Iran must acknowledge that all nations now existing have a right to exist and extend freedom and human rights to every person.
They must apologize for their clear and present threat to commit nuclear genocide upon another people.
A condition of Mutual Assured Destruction must exist between the United States and Iran from this time forth until there is a 'second' Iranian revolution and Religious Terrorism is overthrown just as Communism was before them.
Liberty, Human Rights, and Equality must be extended to every person.

I don't believe that but I wish it was true. We need to get on with it. They have clearly annouced their intentions to wipe us out. I say we do unto them before they can do unto us.

A state of War exist between the U.S. and Iran. They are supporting the people that our killing our troops in the field right now. That is an act of war we don't need any other reason to:

Nuke Iran, Now.

I haven't heard about that, but the U. S. A. already lacks soldiers because of Afghanistan and Iraq, even in Afghanistan is taken over by NATO. So my prediction is no, unless they just want to bomb the country.
Bush's policy about spreading democracy in the Middle East failed, and probably his successor will create a new strategy.

it is not OIL but the OIL Companies that want Iran to be in their pocket. they want total control.
President of the country is a mouthpiece of Business Coommunity and as such they will like to grab Iran at any cost.
