what do u think? is bollywood worth watching or yet hollywood rocks?

When ever I switch on my TV for a Hollywood movie , I see only one thing common which is as below.

1) Long endless convesation on dining table eating bread/burger.
2)Couple Sleeping on bed talking, kissing, again endless convesations.
3) People run around with a Pistol /Gun in hand killing lot of people.

on moral in story, no entertainment nothing.
You can try, switch on your TV, I bet you will get any one of the above all the time round the clock.

Actually, I think both are quite good. Hollywood has a reputation for making genuinely good movies but I think Hollywood produces quite a lot of trash every year, it's just that the trash films are carefully filtered out and only the best Hollywood films are released in India.

Bollywood films are quite colourful and vibrant. A lot of India is below the poverty line, so they need larger-than-life and escapist stuff. So, Bollywood films cater to their tastes. The bit of innocence still remains with Bollywood.

na hollywood still rocks.Bollywood sticks to same concept...LOVE,LOVE AND LOVE!!Sick of it.Ok maybe 1 or 2 or maybe some moer mite be different...but that's not enoguh.How long ar ethey gonna drag the same bullcrap.And even if they do try sumthin different like probably the sci fi films unfornately for the audience it turns into a comedy.The graphics being so crappy ....and due to the presence of jackie shroff.All the songs as well are copied from holloywood in past 4-5 years.Trust me u think a famous hindi song is original?Dig deep ull find an almost ditto track sumwhere in hollywood.From posters to plotines...to even the scenes is copied.Come up with sumthin new bollywood and stay consistent.Probably then it will be at par with hollywood.

well friend very interesting topic of discussion , but views changes with heads.. in my opinion hollywood movies are better to be watched than bollywood's . there are so many reasons for this . but you do it only if you are in search of an actual movie..
the reasons are:-
1) they don't ask their actors to jump around the trees, as in bollywood songs.
2)don't you think it's not worth watching a 3 hours movie, instead better to go for an hour or two's hollywood movie.
3)there will be quality and screenplay is best in hollywood movies but story seems to be lost somewhere in bollywood movies.
4)emotions are exagerated in bollywood movies which i don't like to watch, espacially those k factor movies...

I think Hollywood totaly ROCKS! comeon man they produce the most quality films of the yr. they have every thing in thier range.I should put it as cosmopoliton! People all over the world flock in large numbers 2 see a hollywood film

I never bought into Bollywood. I mean, does every film has to end with a song and a dance? I mean, it's even worst than sitcoms.

i like hollywood better...coz there is creativity......therz something new...somethhing adventurous......compared to the bollywood film ...having almost the same love story.....same sentiment.....same dance steps and same action.....one can get easily bored...
