It's got to be the scene where the mother and son are signing on the piano.... Cringe worthy

The whole film is brilliant. My favourite is probably when Hugh Grant is having a Christmas dinner with Marcus and his mum and dad etc. and Suzie turns up that's a funny bit.
And when Hugh Grant is buying a car seat for 'Ned', and in the store car park putting crisps and sticky drink over it ha ha ha.

When Will (I think that was the characters name?) goes to his first 'SPAT' class in that grotty school trying to pick up a gorgeous single mother.
Also when the kid (Marcus?!) chucks the loaf of bread at the duck and kills it.
The book is far better though Nick Hornby is a good writer (especially Fever Pitch)

I just thought it was funny when the main character (can't remember his name) is walking down the school corridoor 'bopping' along to Mystical 'shake ya ***'. It made me laugh and I dowloaded the song,
