There is no competition - Greenday are far superior. I don't even really like them (singer is hot though!) but Panic at the Disco are absolute rubbish. Most annoying music I've heard since Nickelback.

You cant really compare.... Greenday is classic, but I love panic at the disco as well. They're both great!!

i say panic! at the disco but i know half the people on here well say greenday i can't stand that band.

The answer will be different for each answerer. It all depends on which songs and style you like the best. As for me, I prefer the music of Greenday.

Greenday has taken so much crap in the last 2 years.
Why?
Because the ones tossing the crap at them
are jealous, and accuse them of being "sell-outs" because of the success of
"American Idiot".

This one is an "apples to oranges" comparison to me, as I feel both bands are vastly different from one another. If I had to choose only one to listen to, though, I'd choose Green Day - ANY day. Panic! doesn't suck... I just don't like them as well as Green Day.
