They make an aluminum spray cleaner. Hit the store and pick up a bottle of it.

I use "Trailer Acid" it's a chemical you can find any place that sells supplies for semi-tractor trailers. It's use is for cleaming aluminum dump trailers.

Soapy water and a wheel brush work fine for me.
