Beanie Babies are so expensive because of the price of oil. There is a direct correlation to the amount of beanie babies bought or sold and the price of gas. It's a supply and demand issue.

Are you trying to buy old beanie babies or you’re looking at beanie babies collector online stores? Is this for your collection or for a kid? I don’t collect this stuff (obvioiusly since they’re for girls). But I use to collect comic books, old plastic model kits of military planes, and baseball cards when I was a kid. After awhile, some of those comic books, plastic model kits, and baseball cards (depending on the player) are worth a lot when I looked up their value at ebay or some online stores. If people will want them and they’re old and limited, they’re value is going to up like Star Wars and Transformers toys.

Somebody is pulling the wool over your eyes. Beanie Babies were a collectible whose time has come and gone.They are worth what anyone is willing to pay for them, as all collectibles are. In the true collectible market, their value is negligible.

There was a myth several years ago that they would be valuable someday. Well someday is here and they aren't worth much. I have baskets full that I will sell you.

have you noticed at Garage sales the one's with tags are more expesive?
