I've got a question for you guys. I play on a Shanghai server and I often get approached by local players who type in Chinese. However, the characters don't show up in my game and thus, I can't reply to their whispers and I can't let them know that my Chinese is sub-par.
A few Qs:
How can I get the Chinese characters to show up? (it's installed on my comp)
How do you deal with training and instances if none of your English-speaking friends are on?
Are there any English-speaking guilds?

Thanks for the help, Mr_A_Jones
I would switch servers, but the lag is insane when I try to play the US servers. Also, because I run the US client, the main page I'm linked back to is that of the US site and I haven't seen a similar option on the WoWChina site. Perhaps there's an addon of some sort then >.<

Change servers is all I can suggest. You can also look in your account management screeen on the main webiste ("Manage account" link on sign in page ) and change the language displayed, but it may change ALL of the language so ti may all be chinese, but you can always change back
