I am 45 yrs old and never had female problems. Lately, when we have sex I spot. Sex is not painful at all. What can cause this? Is it my age?

may be u've reached ur menopose. u should consult a doc immediately.

Not wanting to worry you, but you really need to see your doctor about this. It may be something simple, such as ectropion - a condition in which the lining of the cervix "rolls out" and is prone to bleeding. However, post-coital bleeding can also sometimes be caused by cervical cancer, so it's important you see your doctor about this.

Was he rough on you during sex? Could be that. Its happened to me and it was a broken blood vessel. Nothing to it.

spotting blood = menapause

Or if your face swells up or any other parts of your body that is another sign of menapause

you should see a gyno..spotting cant be good during sex. are you having irregular periods/menapause

well your son is out so now would be the time unless you have other kids age has to do with it so one else will know more than me.
