Bullet at 600 ft-s. Divide by 3 to get yards-seconds =200 yds-s

60s in 1 minute. 60 minutes in an hour. Therefore 200 x 3600 = 720000 yards an hour

There are 1760 yards in a mile. Divide 720000 by 1760 = 409.1 miles per hour.

Not a high velocity weapon then.

5,280 ft per mile divided by 600 feet per second is almost 8 seconds per mile or miles per second. There are 60 seconds in a minutes times the sixty minutes in an hour which is 3600 seconds in an hour. 3600 divided by 8 will give you your miles per hour which is a little less than 450 mph.

i'm no longer truly good at math yet others can make sure. 5280ft are in 1mile. So... if 5280ft/2d = 1mile/2d then 600ft/2d = 0.1136...miles/2d (six hundred/5280) So now... We multiply 0.1136 miles/2d through 60 to remodel to minutes and multiply again through 60 to remodel to hours So... 0.1136x60x60= 408.96miles/hour So... Your pellet gun shoots at type of 409mph.
