Being released on bail means that the police are letting you go for the time being until your trial comes up. The charges (in this case for burglary) still stand.
If they were convinced of your innocence, they would drop the charges, and no bail would be necessary.
Your boyfriend is not only a criminal, but also a liar. Lose him.

RELEASED ON BAIL MEANS THAT HE WILL HAVE TO RETURN TO DEFEND HIMSELF . YOU DON'T GET BAILED IF NOT GUILTY ( I DON'T BELIEVE ) .
YOU MAY WANT TO EXPLORE THE LAW SIDE OF WHAT TOOK PLACE WITH HIM AN WHY HE GOT " BAILED " FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T DO . HMMMMMM ????
THERE HAS TO A WWW. SOMETHING OUT THERE TO FIND OUT . OR TRY THE COURT RECORDS. PUBLIC RECORDS DEPT.

Bail is forfeited if he doesn't show up for his hearing. The money will be spent by the court for their time and the time spent looking for him.

If your released on bail, your not "free" by any means.

I was out on bail until my first trial hearing.

If he's out on bail that doens't mean he's off the hook. He's lying to you.
