Why people say durians are stinking fruits?? especially caucasians..durian cake/pies/fruit they areeeee sooooooo niceeeee...

im sorry, but they reek. i have never been able to try one because the smell literally makes me want to throw up. i enjoy asian food & other asian fruits, but that one is over the top. you mean you dont think they smell????

They have an acquired smell. The taste isn't anything like the smell, according to people who love it (such as my father)
Personally, I've grown used to the smell, but I just find the taste bland. It's a cute looking fruit though.

Yeah, it smells like garbage, but tastes like sweet cream.
I actually like durian, once I've had a couple of bites and gotten used to the smell.
