i just saw the movie today with a friend, and after the movie, he drove both of us in a secluded area where it was really dark and there were only trees around you, and there were no other cars. He kept saying we were lost, so I was just holding my purse, telling him to find way home. And he did, except that he said he was just playing with me.

Just the thought of being slaughtered like a piece of animal scares the heck out of me. What should I do?

Don't go to scary movies if they bother you. You might also want to find nicer friends instead of a jerkl who would deliberately make you upset.

If you are really obsessing about this you might need to talk to a mental health counseller. Some people have symptoms that look like PTSS just from horror movies.

It might help to know that the location this was filmed in is a very nonthreatening camp near where I live. My children both went to fifth grade camp there, and nearly all the kids had seen the movie. If you start having scary thoughts, remind yourself it is not real and picture a camp with happy people.

I would refrain from watching movies like that, or else enjoy the fear for the emotion it invokes, thats what I do
