It seems, from what I have gathered, that video recordings predate Nietzsche's death in 1900. Maybe someone with a trained eye can tell if it's a hoax?

These videos are hoaxes - someone has taken still photographs of Nietzsche and then screwed around with them to make them look like an old film (notice how he never actually moves in these videos).

You'll find plenty of people to corroborate this if you look around the net.

Well, it's obvious no one here knows about film or history: Firstly Nietzsche is 'still' because he is near the end of his life 'with mental illness.' He does move slightly and being a film maker and a photographer this is impossible to do with only still photographic images - unless you took around 5 frames per second (minimum), which camera those days couldn't do. Secondly, film was 'well' and 'truly' invented by this time, just look it up, Einstein. There is no reason what so ever, to think this footage of Nietzsche is not real! All you people just seem eager to be skeptical, while maybe you should be more skeptical of your own ignorant confidence and assertion of it.

I think Nietsche was long gone before videos arrived!
I saw a video of God recently. Was it real??
