If my Cingular phone is out of internet range, can I still receive text messages???

I have full bars so no service problem but I cant get my internet to work for some reason, can I still get text messages??

you can recive sms messages without reception but you cant send them........

You can send and recieve messages if you have full bars, and that is no doubt. Accessing internet errors sometimes happens. Just wait a little and try again.

Unless Your Service provider has Reciprocal Service with Other cellular providers then -NO!
Call your own Customer Services!
