SOME older guys have trouble, but often due to underlying health problems like cardiac issues or diabetes. Most healthy older guys can get erect and stay erect just fine. Are older guys as sexually aroused as easily as younger guys? No, we don't think about sex every few minutes like a 20 yr old guy- might be hours between thoughts on sex. The sex drive does slow down, but the mechanics of having sex generally won't until other health issues occur.

Age will decrease sperm and seminal fluid, but erection should not be affected. You should look at your diet and also your weight....extra pounds will decrease blood flow to the penis...exercise, lots of zinc containing foods, don't smoke or drink alcohols and if all else fails use Viagra. But your body is telling you something...you should pay attention to it....get a healthier life style. It is not related to an enlarged prostate, or high blood pressure, it is normal for the libido to decrease in later life. Many males after the age of 35 have difficulty sustaining an erection because they have reduced libido.

Technically everyones body is diffrent than others. In your case your 45 and if your having trouble staying erect it is probably just age related or it could be that your testosterone levels are low. Consult a doctor and ask for a testosteron check. Another thing you can do is go to your local Nutriton Center or GNC and purchase Tribulus Terrestris which boost testosterone levels naturally. Another solution is HGH spray; besides it making you stay erect and produce more sperm it makes you feel 20 years younger. It increses sex performance, endurance, strength, energy, muscle, reduces fat, etc.

I'm not sure that age has anything to do with your symptoms. Do you take medicine for blood pressure or other chronic health problems? If not you should see a urologist and let him help you with the problem.
