fall or winter "which ever gets the most rain"

Winter, because there is only family, good friends, days when the snow falls from the sky like feathers, Christmas, the pure silence, and happy spirit on the holidays, the Christmas tree, it all makes you forget about all the problems in the world and you feel like the world just got a bit nicer to live in.

spring. Not too cold, not too hot. Flowers starting to bloom. Wonderful start of a whole new world after hibernating for so long. It's like the begining of a new chapter in my life. No wonder the Chinese choose this season as the time when they change their calendar.

I love rainy reason in Mumbai, India.

It rains like crazy here; it cools down the town. And I enjoy going to the beach during rains, with my friends and eat corn. All the trees, houses, roads look cleaned up.(And it is usually badly required, considering the track record of Government appointed cleaners and citizens who believe that the entire town is a dustbin).

The whole atmosphere becomes quite romantic.

Spring and Autumn. Winter is too cold & Summer is too hot. I like when it's just right. Bright sun, cool breeze, perfect weather to go for a walk in the woods...I love Spring with its new life, full of hope & Fall with its vibrant colours. Winter is so bleak & summer is just humid (especially when you don't have air conditioning!)

Autumn. The temp seems right all around the country. Love the changing colors. Things slow down. Good time to cook and take long walks.

winter season
Winter is cold crispy snow; it is blustering wind and creaking house walls; it is crackling fires and wood-smoke on the air; it is frost sparkled windows and dark leaden skies.

Winter with heavy evergreen brightness and light crystal blue afternoons; it is warm soups on the stove and spicy cakes with coffee; it is Christmas; it is New Years; it is slow days within ones house.

Bright rosy children's cheeks and red noses to match; it is planning; it is silence; it is bundles of woolen frumpiness and braveness of boots.

Winter is spicy curries and stews; deep reds and dark blues; hot tea and cookies; the radiant heat of a stove.

Flurried whiteness and gentle star dusted nights; It is hidden and secret; plain, stark and austere. It is contrast and seamless binding of earth, water, and air. It is surprisingly bright berries and visiting birds. Winter's wonder is in its editing and the force of its emphasis. Perhaps that is what makes it a time of illuminations.

I like spring the best because all forms of life springs to life, including humans, who are most happiest during this period.
