WOW...are you for real?! I agree w/ the chick that said Native Americans are true Americans, thank you. What defines "redneck"? And what defines "true American" to you? A Southern born guy w/ a big truck....whatever. What makes a person a true American in my opinion IS first and foremost a Native American, but in braoder terms I would have to say anyone that is born in this country, or legally becomes a citizen, and loves/repects this country and what it has to offer is a true American. Next thing you'll be telling me you're 100% white!

True americans believe in the ideals of liberty and democracy. Most rednecks do not hold these beliefs higher then their can of beer. Try some education and a little travel.

well, it depends, if the red neck is flying the union jack then no he is not a true american because he is still whishing the south succeeded from the union, but if they are the other type that drives a truck, works hard, loves our country (and mabe their sister ocassionally) and nascar, then yes they are true americans

I recently learned that "redneck" was orignally used to refer to Irish American union organizers. They wore red bandanas around their necks.
