The pill and other hormone based BC such as Depo Provera is about 99%, IUD 98%, diaphragm 99% when used properly but many people don't, condoms and foam are about 97%.

Nothing is 100% safe. There is a chance. That's why on the back of packaging they say the odd of condoms are 99% that's if you get the right size, they are fresh and haven't dryrotted from being in the guys wallet or car.

The pill has a 98% of effectivness and that's if you take it everyday at the same time and don't skip any days. And it still doens't protect you from AIDs or STDs.
Nothing but not having sex can do that. And doing everything but sex can still get you pregnant too. Or worse an STD. So think it over very carefully is he really worth changing your life?

combined- birth control, condoms, pull out, etc
