How short is too short for a dress for a 14 year old?

I don't personally worry about this. Girls that age look good in short skirts. I suppose if her butt was showing it would be one thing. But other than something like that I am not real concerned about it.

If she cannot bend down and touch her toes without showing her underwear then that is too short. Also, there is no reason for a 14 year old to be wearing a dress with a hem abover her knees. We want our young women to be ladies not tramps.

14 is pretty young, but I don't think age matters as much as body type. Appropriate length for a skirt depends on your own personal shape and size. Of course, anything that is obviously too short is not okay. Shorter girls can get away with shorter skirts while taller girls should wear longer ones so they don't look disproportionate. Anything that flashes your underwear when you bend over is too short! You should be able to reach down and touch your toes without showing anything!

Anything that's an inch above the knee. You'll pretty much know if a skirt is too short for you if you bend down and a part of your butt or underwear is showing.

properly that form is maximum likey almost 6ft ... are you? I even have comparable outfits and that i'm approximately 5"5 .. they seem to be a wee bit short yet once you have have been given the legs and self belief then why don't you? You mum will ought to enable you test which comprise your outfits in the different case you will in no way get your very own type. My mum did and that i've got have some mess ups yet now I infrequently gown undesirable!

Depends on what type. I think generally 4 inches above your knee. As long as its not really tight.

anything that goes up past mid thigh..... anything shorter than that is too short for ANYONE, and just looks trashy!
