I suspect a lot of this is coming from the 'feminism vs MRA' problem. Now, I don't agree with a great deal of MRAs, and this is because I think that men, as a group, do not see themselves as a political entity. That is, until they go through (say) a divorce, and lose custody of the kids, and then start looking into laws regarding parenthood, and through that into men's rights. Or something similar. Basically, they will not join these groups - or even THINK about these things - until something negative happens TO THEM. An obvious consequence of this is that it is very, very easy for such men to play victim. But that's something feminist groups do too - far too easily and often. And in order to be a victim, there must be a villain. So the other gender becomes the 'baddie', and everything that happens is their fault and must be fought and they must be punished and... and it never ends. Now, I consider myself an equalitarian. I believe both genders should be treated as one thing: equally human, with all the accompanying rights. Obviously, there are innate, unchangeable differences in the sexes, and that's something we've got to work out how to balance. But all this calling of "Not fair! We've got it worse than you!" "No you don't! This law is discriminatory!" "But look at this statistic! A scientist wrote it, and it proves you wrong!" ACCOMPLISHES NOTHING!!! F**KING NOTHING!!! I just hope that when I'm old, I can look back and say "yeah, we grew up". But to be honest, I don't know how the hell that's going to happen if we keep acting like enemies. Sorry, I know that doesn't exactly address the question... but I think it addresses why we have to ask it in the first place...

Giraffes have 7 bones in their neck, equal to man.

The bones in the neck are called "cervical vertebrae" (vertebra = singular, vertebrae = plural). By definition, all mammals (including humans and giraffes) have 7 cervical vertebrae. Other animals, like birds and reptiles, may have more.

Hope that helps!

Every single mammal has seven cervical vertabrae. This includes both man and giraffe, though vertabrae in other sections of the body will vary in number.
