My girlfriends daughter is pregnant and I want to give her a poem or saying to help her daughter instead of being mad.

I doubt that a poem will help, although I truly understand what you are trying to do. She is going through a tough situation, and it's too bad it has to be that way, but I can't blame her. I would have been kind of upset if my daughter had been pregnant as a teenager.

One thing I've always noticed about these premature, unwanted pregnancies... the babies seem to have a way of making themselves wanted and special. Carl Sandburg said, "A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on." Before long, your girlfriend will wonder how she ever lived without that sweet little grandchild.

The things people write or "answer" on this site are horrible! (your previous answers) In my opinion you are proceeding the best way possible as a friend and asking for some "encouraging" help! Rather than having or listening to rude people answer your nurturing question, my advise would be to google select words like "motherhood" "pregnancy" "young mothers" things like that. All of which you can add "poem" into the mix. It would narrow down what you were looking for and hopefully specify something in mind. I hope I have helped you : )

I agree with Jenna previous "answerer!" I had my 1st child ten days after I turned 17. All I wanted was someone to tell me life will go on and I wont be damned or disowned by anyone!!! I wouldn't use those words but try not to tell her what you're not going to do for her and tell her what you will do. I heard a lot of, "I'll support you but I'm NOT giving you anything you'll have to work like an adult if you want to pretend to be one!!" Please don't be negative! I'm getting married next year and our child is 1 yrs old and my mom's friends said well I'm not doing anything for this child and I said well i made it without you and I'll do it again!! And you know what I'm actually doing better than those bitter bitches my mom calls friends!!! After my first child that relationship failed I was upset and felt lonely, but I never stopped and I graduated with a 3.8 GPA I was student body president and achieved all the things I hoped to achieve! If you want tell her about me or have her send me an email if she needs some encouraging words from someone who knows that worst and best sides of her situation!!!!

Ask your friend if it's ok first, she may not want you to make her think it's ok to do this.
I know when I got prego at an early age my moms friend tried to talk with her and its been 10 and a half years since they have spoken to each other, she didn't even come to my wedding a few years ago. I take part of the blame for this because I got pregnant and my second mom tried to help.
So to be safe make sure it's ok first.

Creation is the proper form of love,

Opening a universe to being.

Nor is love less than light a lamp for seeing

Glory, as the passing years will prove.

Remember well what service you must render

As laborers in vineyards not your own.

The life that you have made is but on loan,

Unencumbered by what gifts you tender.

Let it then be yours this little while,

And lavish it unstintingly with joy,

The grace no later demons can destroy,

Inheritance no fortune can defile.

Out of who you are comes what you do:

Now be with love and joy for more than two,

So that you may with life new life beguile.

Props to you for being supportive.
The teen mom will need a lot of it once her baby is born.
this site has a lot of motivational quotes.

I think only a trained person can help both of them. Peom! might make things worsen.
