No warts do not come from any frogs or toads. A wart is a lump on the skin formed when one of the 30 types of papilloma virus invades skin cells and causes them to multiply rapidly. There are several different types of warts. For instance, common warts usually develop around sites where there was an injury; flat warts (accompanied by itching) develop on hands; digitate warts have fingerlike projections; filiform warts develop on eyelids, armpits, and necks; and plantar warts develop on the soles of the feet. Each type of wart is produced by a specific virus. Wart viruses are spread by touch or by contact with the skin shed from a wart.

No, frogs don't have warts. Toads have warts, but they can't give you warts either. That is just an old wive's tale! Warts are caused by a virus and you get it from other people. Toads do however, secrete a poison, so you should wash your hands after handling them. If a pet eats a toad, the pet will become sick and might die.

No. Frogs and toads do not give people warts. It is an old wives tale.
Also, you shouldn't be handling a tree frog either. Frogs have delicate skin that can be easily torn during handling and their skin will absorb harmful chemicals off from your skin (i.e. like soap) and into their bodies.
Green tree frogs make great pets to watch.

No frogs or toads can give you warts. That's just an old-fashioned myth.
Make sure your frog doesn't have poisonous skin, though. That would be a bigger concern with any type of tropical frong.
