oh my god no way!!! Charlie Chaplin was one of the biggest players of his time!! The character he created (the 'tramp') was completely opposite of how he really lived his life. That guy got more *ss than a rock star, and that's the truth. He was as far from gay as possible.

Up until around the age of fourteen, Charlie admitted to having crushes on boys. This is quite normal for young kids who just want attention from other kids their age - when you're that young, you don't see genders, you just see someone who's willing to like you back.

Loads of gay blokes (well bisexual anyway) have hundreds of women, always looking for but never finding the right one as she doesn;t exist. Does that add a little food for though re CC? Oh and when in drag he was disturbingly convincing.
