I just watch this Movie I thought is was Ok but I am not getting the end part, are the women and daughter in a different dimension or what.

The mother and daughter are dead. they are in another deminsion because they are somewhere in a world between the living and the dead. I am in the middle of playing the games right now, and that is how I understand it to be.

It wasn't a good ending. I think they were trying to leave it open, but it really sucked because no one knows what happened. Unless they play the game or know all of the story. That's the problem with making a movie from a video game.

Well, I dont think they are dead, because the police would have found their bodies and there were none to be found. Plus their car didnt crash into anything to cause them to die. Also, she was able to get through on her cell phone to her husband, meaning that they were trapped in another diminsion. Most likely the fog took them into the other world. The only thing I dont understand is that if they helped the dead girl, why didnt she return them to their right place?

my take on it.... they were dead.. kinda another dimension... more like the afterlife.. maybe they were going to be "ghosts".
