I've been looking at alot of questions on here and not many of you seem to be giving the Tigers the credit for winning against the Yankees. I understand it's hard to think of the Detroit Tigers as a good baseball team, but lets face it. They have played better than any team for most of this season. They were only looking average towards the end but after this series it looks like they are back to their early season ways. Is it so much to ask that instead of saying that the Yankees need new management and that they played like crap, that we can simply look at the truth; the Tigers are a great baseball team.

Comment for KungFuBeerPimp:

It isn't the Pistons fault that the Miami Heat thought they could solve all their problems by hiring Shaq. I'm sorry, but all he has is size. I have to give credit to Dwane Wade though, he is turning into an unstoppable player. Hopefully we can change that this season.

Dude, that's fine. Let everyone think we stink. You and I both know that isnt the case. You and I both know it was our pitching that won this series, and it will our pitching to get us to the big dance.

You have to understand about most yankee fans. they are spoiled brats, and like spoiled brats, when they dont get what they want they start crying.

You and I both know who Placido Polanco is, and what great things he has done in the field and with his bat. You and I both know that Brandon Inge is the best fielding 3rd baseman in the AL---but because he is not wearing pinstripes wont get the national recognition he deserves.

So let's keep this a secret until they win the world series (still have to get past Oakland, That will be tougher than NY).

I have always agreed that the Tigers are a great team. They flat-out beat the Yankees all around. They outpitched and outplayed my poor Yankees!
They drop-kicked them all the way back to NY!
All Hail the Tigers! They most certainly are a great ball club!
Jim Leyland ~ manager of the year!
Now, having said that, I must mention that I still love my Yankees, no matter who gets traded, fired or resigns.
I'll be counting the days till opening day 2007!
Go Yankees!

Ha Ha. 200 million $ payroll. I'm a Marlin fan. I give the Tigers all the credit in the world. They shut them down. They have a lot of ex Marlins on their team including the manager. Bonderman was unstoppable and the Tiger's 6-9 hitters kick ***. However, the Tigers are a good team, we in S.FL really do not like the Pistons. They are punks.

The Yankees did play poorly, and they need pitching. I can admit that they were outplayed by a team that wanted it more. Thats what it really boils down to, Detroit was hungry to win and did. I'm not saying that NY didn't want to win, but the pitching wasn't there and other errors didn't help them. Kudos to Detroit for a well played series..... Hopefully it will be a NY/Detroit World Series.

I can't remember the last time I saw the Yankees lineup get manhandled the way that Rogers and Bonderman did. Just goes to prove that good pitching will always beat good hitting. I'm not much of a Tiger fan (don't hate 'em, just don't follow them closely), but as a Dodger fan (yes - weep for me... lol), I was SO glad to see Steinbrenner's Evil Empire knocked out of the hunt for the championship... :)

Yo, A-Rod.... YOU'LL NEVER WIN ONE!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

no longer some thing incorrect with Elin in simple terms practise swinging the iron, i think she did not favor to apply timber on Woods. Being between the most important superstar timber truly understand that the international might want to have a container day if or maybe as he slipped up morally. I particular do no longer sense sorry for him no longer that I had not in any respect strayed in my own marriage.
