35 1/2 is 2 1/2 in England and 4 in the USA, I think. Any way you've been given a site for shoe size conversion.
I just have two things to say - why start at size 39? Some people have smaller feet.
The second is, why should Imelda Marcos know all the different shoe sizes? She had thousands of pairs of shoes not thousands of pairs of different sized feet!

its so confusing isn`t it i only ever have a clue about English sizes and even then different manufacturers seem to have different ideas about the same size( i am mostly a 5 but only a 4 from Next )
