I thought, at the beginning of the season, that the Red Sox would finally win the AL East, and the Wild Card would come out of the Central division. I was right about one thing. Though, if the Red Sox had been able to stay in contention, the same most likely would have held true.

Mets were an obvious choice in the East, though, even before the season started.

The National League was fairly disappointing this year.

It would be great to see the Tigers in the World Series this year. Cause the way i see it, if the Red Sox could do it back in 2004 and the Chicago White Sox in 2005, Why not the Detroit Tigers? I would like to see them go all the way, don't you think?

teams that arent expected? the tigers and mets have been favs to represent AL and NL in wordl series for almost 3/4 of the season. the mets arent likely to make it now, with 2 bad injuries, but the tigers will, the athletics cant stop them

As for the National League --- Go Mets!
I am thoroughly delighted that the evil empire was eliminated just as the New York Mets were advancing to the NLCS.

We are CARDINALS all the way in MISSOURI but I love baseball. The World Series is some serious strategy and that's why I enjoy watching no matter who it is. Got my oldest interested in baseball in 1978. My husband doesn't know what I see in baseball but I was raised near Pittsburgh, Pa. and always watched the games as a teenager.

recreation 5 of the 06 international sequence. The 06 international sequence replaced into the main suitable because of the fact the Cardinals won the sequence in 5 video games, vs. a Tigers team that replaced into meant to win the sequence quite.
