My boyfriend and i are planning a trip soon. We can't seem to choose between these 2, which would you pick?

Well I have been to both Jamaica and Brazil. Honestly I loved both destinations so I think it would be more of a matter of what you two would like to have for your vacation to determine.
Plus Brazil is a very large country, many places to stay. Unless you want to go for Mardi Gras or to see the Statue of Christ there are other parts of Brazil to go to than Rio De Janerio. I myself stayed in Costa Do Sauipe near Salvador.
Both Destinations really have there appeals to them, I would need to ask you a few questions in order to determine which I felt anyways you would enjoy more.
Jamaica is definitely a shorter flight than Brazil, but either way Brazil is worth it. You do need a Visa to travel to Brazil as to where Jamaica you will need a passport, but not a Visa.

Brazil beats Jamaica hands down! The people are amazing in Brazil and there is lots of fun and still not been taken over by tourists like Jamaica.

I'd choose Jamaica. 1: The crime is not going to generally be an issue. Sure poverty exists in Jamaica but not to the extent in Brazil. Jamaicans know that their major industry is tourism and this translates from the fancy all inclusive resort and staff to the person on the beach selling jewelry or other ahem items.

I think I would like to go to Jamaica because relatives and friends of mine have been there and say the people are pleasant and so is the scenery so it to good things in one spot.
