Just because its on? You could watch it anytime, but Hey! Its on TV! Other people are watching it too!

Only if it's on a movie channel, because otherwise there are commercials every two seconds.

Well of course. I mean, yeah, I could just go and pop in the DVD and get widescreen and subtitles and, depending on the channel, no commercials, but if I'm actually watching TV, then I'm probably just channel surfing. And if I'm just channel surfing, its because I'm bored and have no energy. And since I have no energy, I don't have enough energy to find, dig out, and put in the DVD of the movie on TV.
So I just watch it on TV.

Yeah, that happens to me often. I mainly don't turn it because it sounds good, but if I had to start my dvd player and open up the dvd tray, wow too much work. I'll watch it on t.v. because all i have to do is adjust the volume settings.

Yes! I love doing that, because for some reason, when you own it on DVD, you never feel like watching it, but when it comes on TV unexpectidly, it's a treat and you feel like watching it!

Hardly ever, I'd rather watch something I have on DVD on my own time. If there's nothing else on TV I suppose I'd watch it.

I do it all the time! I get a kick out of movies that come on regular tv like Scarface and Goodfellas and see how they edit the bad language out! It cracks me up when they replace the f word with freak!
