Wow, I grew up listening to my folks play all those guys. My mom is just a huge Marty Robbins fan, almost to the point of obsession, and my dad loves Buck Owens. But I'd have to say that my favorite of those four is definitely Merle Haggard. White Line Fever, Okie from Muskogee, Fightin' Side of Me, The Bottle Let Me Down, Mama Tried, Working Man Blues, Mama's Hungry Eyes, Silver Wings, the list of country classics just goes on and on. He truly does deserve to be listed right along side George Jones and Johnny Cash as one of the greatest ever (and in my book he'd be number one!)

Does Marty Robbins sing "streets of Loredo"? That's a great song. If he doesn't, then Merle Haggard.

Damn good question. Overall Buck, best album Marty Robbins (Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs), best attitude Merle, and Charlie....uh... Charlie.....umm....best black guy to wear a cowboy hat.

From those four, I'd have to say Marty Robbins. He was also one of my dad's favorites.
