You cannot "reverse" baldness. Male pattern baldness is genetically predetermined as an x-linked recessive gene that is expressed in the presence of testosterone. That is why male pattern baldness doesn't occur pre-puberty. You could prevent the expression by castration but this would have other unintended side effects (tongue in cheek). It is either endured gracefully or treated with any number of options including some that have been listed in other answers.

Surely you have heard of Propecia and Rogaine and hair transplants.

I strongly recommend that you buzz cut your hair and forget about it. Or you could try the comb over.

You can't. You can however, slow it down a little by not wearing hats or caps, they rub the hair away and prevent oxygen from getting to the hair follicle. You can cut your hair close to the scalp to make it appear neater and take the focus off of a receding hairline. Hairloss is hereditary that skips a generation, so thank your grandpa when you see him. Good luck.
