My husband says that he heard that there maybe two more movies coming up.

yes, they are gonna be another superman movies. But Brandon Ruth won't be the Superman again.
Event the Superman Return didn't get much as expected, but still it's a lot of money to earn.

I do not think there will be SRII. Even the Superman Returns' box office earning is far below our expectation. Maybe Superman will take a rest for a few years...

You would think there would be another because of the way S R ended. Implication of Superboy coming of age and doing heroic feats as well as the fact that Luthor isn't dead or in prison (even though he got his "beach front property"). But even though the writers may have wanted to pick up where it left off, sometimes it's up to the studio or in a couple years when it should be in production, they may not have the budget. Bummer reason not to continue a great story. In my opinion, they need to have another one for a showdown with Lex. And then one after that just so a villian other than Lex can be explored.

they need to do DOOMSDAY
that was the original plan for a new Superman movie but i hear it was having to get it intoa reasonable time frame that made it impossible.
Maybe 2 movies of it.

I heard they're definelty making another one, which I hope they do! I loved the movie, and Superman was so good looking and sometimes he even sounded like Christopher Reeves, espeically when he was talking to Lois Lane.

when Returns was made it was part of a Trilogy deal as is standard with most films. When or whether the studio capitalizes is still up in the air.

no,but i hope they make another one coz it is a great movie,superman is like our own individual secreat hero fantasy,and i like being a super hero.
