Released - No, too good a player

Traded? its worth looking in to, get some young people into the organisation would help. Not trading them all for Abreu would be swell aswell.

I think A-Rod can be part of a world series winning team, He will probably never be a world series MVP, but on the right team he could play about as well as he does all year, he is a consistent player, not really a huge star clutch player.

People expect too much of him, and enjoy watching him suffer for some reason, and its just snowballing.

Yankees fans: if A-rod is the reason why you lose, why not give him to the red sox or the blue jays?

I used like A-Rod when he was with the Texas Rangers, but now he is a Yankee.. I don't like him.

Anyway, A-Rod should be released by the Yankees because he didn't do to good in the playoffs this year. Even though i don't like the Yankees at all, I am just telling the truth.

It's rumored that he will be attempted to be traded. Yes, A-Rod is a great player but it doesn't mean anything if you can't do it in the postseason. A-Rod seems like the type that will never win a championship but will give all of his individual accolades for a World Series championship.

He's a two-time AL MVP and 10-time All-Star, ARod is a .305 hitter with six homers and 16 RBIs in 31 career playoff games. How many current players can you think of with those stats? Where was the rest of the offense? Just because he got paid big money doesn't make him the best player or the Ace in the hole. Lets see, who else should have been there and wasn't. Too many to list.

Even if the Yankees wanted to trade him, which team will pick up his crazy salary?

Even the Red Sox had a difficult time in picking it up. I don't think the Yankees have a choice.

No, because the Yanks will make the playoffs and again A-Rod will do nothing in the postseason and contribute to the Yanks losing again!

Honestly, I would keep him. His numbers do not lie...he put up some great numbers...even though he did have a bunch of errors. If he could only get past his post-season slump(s).

No.

Keep around another 4 years so that the yankees can remain WINLESS in the 21st Century.

I think he will be. he did so horrible during the playoffs. its as if he lost it or something. They say that he is the best thing since Ted Williams but ever since he went to the Yankees the dude sux. He even said so. He is definately not what he's worth.

first of all we didn't even need him.. we should have spent the money on pitching. bases loaded, strikes out. he sucked all year
we always needed pitching for a long time we just never seem to get it.
