Set boundries and rules. Maintain your private space. Do not allow yourself to be sucked into a social relationship with this person. Sharing financial obligations is a business contract. Treat it as such. Make it known how you feel.

Remind them that they are in a very vulnerable position living with you, and it would not be wise or safe to constantly piss you off. They have to sleep sometime...

Tell him you know and have access to both sharp knives and the place he sleeps. He needs to knock it off or find somewhere else to live. Or, ya know, you could move, but if he moves, you don't have to do any pesky packing.
