Yes, I feel like it's a good forum for people to ask questions they might not be willing to share with someone they know and it's fun.
We all get to play therapist , comedian, and counselor.
Most of us think very highly of our own opinion. A little egotistical, but not harmful!

I'm not sure. The points don't mean anything but stil I find myself smiling if I go up a level. It's pretty silly because the levels don't get me anything. I would think if they really wanted to make it competitive, they'd show your ranking along with the points. I'd rather see how my best answer % compares to others than see how far it is to an arbitrary cutoff. I think I would do it without the points though because I just like the sound of my own typing.

The point system is kind of gimmicky (I know that's not a real word). But, I still love the fun of answering fun and sometimes pointless stuff. It's good to keep the mind active and the typing skills up to date!

Probably not. I am thinking about quitting anyway. Getting sick of getting reported and 'scolded' by Yahoo. It's getting old really fast.

Yep, I'm a freak. I'd still be on answering untill 2am (yep it's 2am here). I think it's my social nature and absolutely incurable desire to help. They could take all my points away righ now (let me see, can I erase them?) and I'd still be answering questions.
If you're looking for consperacies, what about this place being so insanely addictive, that they brainwash us all into wasting our lives away. Hum... Great question! I think I'll go ask it!!!

Yes, I would. I always find some site to spend my idle hours on. Then I move on after it gets boring. If not Y! A, I'd be somewhere else...
