it would help if they learn our language. if i were to go to say... Italy, i would learn at LEAST the basics of Italian, it would only be courteous to the Italians and their country. I think that it is rude and disrespectful to make an entire country learn your language because you are too lazy to learn theirs.

Depends on where you live.
In the US you'll have to use some bad words or kick their face
In the UK, you'll have to say " sorry, where do I know you from ?"
In France, you spit on their feet
In Germany, you show them the next beer pub
In Italy you smile, because you never understand anything less than Italian, and you would think they are being nice...
In Spain, they are so hairy, that a foreigner would never want to be discourteous
In Switzerland, you will pay a fine
In the Middle East, you will not get out of there alive...
In Turkey, they will cook you alive

I used to work at a shoe store while going to college, I would get a lot of nasty non english speakers in, they would yell at me in spanish all the time, I couln't help them cuz I speak English and not spanish, I would usually say no comprende and walk away, they would get the hint. I did flip out really bad once though, I had a lady come into a restaurant where I used to work also while in school, she started yelling at me becuz i did not speak Spanish, but yet she was fluent in both english and spanish, she said the restaurant is prejudice for not having a spanish menu to accomadate her and her family. She was getting in my face and calling me names, pretty much make a scene, all the other customers were staring, i finally had it, and told her calmly, sorry about the menu not being in spanish, if u want to call me prejudice for not speaking spanish then go right ahead, but for now, I will speak to u in the language I know english, f*ck off and leave now and be sure to take a f*cking menu with u and study it with your family, because no one in this restuarant is going to or will ever cater to your ignorant @ss. She spoke with my manager but pulled that racist crap again so he pretty much told her to f*ck off as well.

I know I know. Some cultures are inherently loud when they speak to each other, and they are difficult to understand. Once we asked one who understood English "why are those people fighting?" and she said "No they are not fighting, thats just the way we talk"
Some people cut in front of you in lines, or drive like maniacs. If you say "Excuse me but the end of the line is over there" They would stare blankly at you and pretend not to understand.
I have learned to tell them with gestures and simple commanding words to do what needs to be done. With a smile of course.

In u.s., that's what we call "freedom of speech". as long as they positioned across English with you while being spoken, you shouldn't be undertaking approximately their language. this is very an imposition by way of fact the corporate now a days hires people who ought to talk diverse languages to boost their agencies. maybe in case you be taught yet another language different than English, you will discover out for your self that it is extremely an asset to talk yet another language different than your mom tongue.

Learn their language and their culture. What may be rude in one culture may be acceptable in another. Therefore they may not be aware that they are being rude. Therefore my best advice, educate yourself about other cultures and the world around you.

Simple, start blabbing all the nasty stuff, words and languages you know in your language or in English. But do this smiling on his/her face so that he/she thinks that you are really concrened about his/her problem and also act like that you are very sad as well.
