I have 2 female ferrets, one is 1 yrs old and the other is 3yrs old. And I am getting to baby girl guinea pigs soon. Will they be good together or will they fight?

Yeah, don't put them together. Animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, etc... should be housed apart, not just because of physical harm that could take place, but also because they have different nutritional needs, so they can't share food. The pellets might look the same, but they are made specifically for those animals.

i really doubt that they would make a good match. Ferrets are very rambunctious and guinea pigs...not so much, (trust me i know, i've had both) the best partner for a ferret is another ferret, or sometimes a very tough, but equally gental small dog, while on the other hand guinea pigs are extremely laid back and easy going, they are usually paired off with rabbits. i would think that the two types of animals will fight, or that the guinea pig will get bulllied often. But we never can tell as animals are as unique as people. i would say try them out together, if you see that they are not getting along, seperate them.

You should not put guinea pigs and rabbits together. Rabbits are very territorial and can accidentally kill the piggie with those powerful back legs. Not to mention that they are carriers of bordatella, which is fatal to a guinea pig. You should NEVER put a piggie and a ferret together. Ferrets are PREDATORS and will eat the guinea pigs. It appears from your previous exposures to rabbits and guinea pigs that you need to do some serious research on the proper care of both animals before attempting to own either.

I introduced my tame, friendly ferret to a pet rat once; the ferret walked right up and bit the rat on the back of the neck! Luckily not too hard, but I kept them apart after that. I would be very cautious with the ferrets and the guinea pig.

If you put them together, you will have fewer pets soon. Your ferret will be fattening up.
