I don't think so, check your news, info-Pakistan or Bangla Desh, maybe, if they are not then it's about time they did, so that you have at least one or two truly democratic and free Muslim nation/s in the world. I think once the Muslims are given freedom of expression, this community will grow into a real human asset for the world, not just because of the natural assets like oil and gas.
(Personally I would not like to tie myself to any religion, but would be happy if a greater part of humanity were to get the freedom that all humans deserve and have a right to, that the religious heads or the miltary heads don't permit the folowers of their faiths to enjoy. Incidentally I think Indian's have a lot more freedom than the people in the west and the US).

And to Paladin, what's america except for a land stolen from the natives whom the white man so ruthlessly murdered and looted? And of course it's the global bully that is run by a wild shrub, a bush! And what lies within a bush? get da pic? You belittle any country, bub, however small and inconsquential it may be, be prepared to get flack for your nation, (Incidentally to those who are interested, America is one of the few countries that I admire and I don't really mean those comments).

Yes, your apprehension is right. The prevailing situation in the country has made people utterly frustrated and they have started losing their patience now.Minor outbursts every now and then in different parts of the country are indicative of a very volatile situation. All the politicians have proved that they are wolves of the same herd in different colours and disguised in masks to look like benefactors . They are not interested in solving the problems of the country but their only priority is seizing the power so that they may lead princely lives and build empires for their generations. To achieve this, they use all types of means like religions, castes, temptations of reservations, employments, allowances and gifts, honours and what not! The people of India have realised pretty well that they are being used by politicians for their evil designs. Thriving of corruption, retardation of progress and deterioration in moral values are the results of misrule by our political parties which have become shelters for all types of criminals. Now the tolerance of Indians is reaching the boiling-point and an explosion is imminent any time. Let us pray that all the energies of the land fuse together for a better tomorrow!

India is perpetually heading for civil war, but they're mostly too divided to make it a major one. When you can't get more than a hundred people to join your sect and everyone is a member of at least five, how are you supposed to have a proper war? -yk
