Democrats support baby killing and vote to have God excluded from EVERYTHING and stand by those who want to tear down 10 commandment plaques. Whose side you on? Democrats or God's side?

Christians are nothing more than pons used by the Republicans to gain power against the Democrats. They were used for their numbers and their money. I feel sorry for them if they cant see that. I find that the one real reason that Christians vote Republican is over the Abortion Bill. Yet these are the same people that voted for the Death Penalty. Their own faith is being used against them. How can "real" Christians back a party that believes in war to settle matters, removes help to the most needy, and pits one American against another? I was always taught that you help those in need, peace not war, and that "all" are loved by God. If that is exclusively a Democratic trait, then I guess I'm a Democrat and proud to be one.

What're you talking about???

Bringing religion to politics, you should be ashamed. I don't care about God on political documents.. waste of our time to make everything there politically correct... but not voting on a side simply because you're Christian is ignorant! If Hitler or Stalin was under a Republican flag and Jesus was under a democrat flag, as ridiculous as this sounds would you vote Republican?

Look, "Ned B"... I've answered your questions before. I was hoping you learned something.

Not voting on a side simply because they're not your side is so so so ignorant. Vote against someone because you think they're not for you. Vote candidate not party.

Besides... do you think you're a true Christian? Isn't it said that judging others should only be done by God? And yet here you are telling people how Christians vote... only REAL Christians as if you can speak for God or for the entire Christian community. I don't really care what Christians vote. I just want them to vote because it's what they feel, not because you tell them if they don't they're not a true Christian.

What a load of BS.

{EDIT}

"Democrats support baby killing and vote to have God excluded from EVERYTHING and stand by those who want to tear down 10 commandment plaques. Whose side you on? Democrats or God's side?"

I'm on the left and I'm not for abortion... I don't care about God in stuff... And if I remember correctly there are Republicans in the army... doesn't it say THOU SHALL NOT KILL? I'm not saying we shouldn't have an army... im just saying that if you were a real Christian you'd be able to follow that BASIC rule.

Besides... God would see how ignorant and hateful towards his own children are being. You are certainly NOT on God's side.

No. There are Christians who vote for the Democrats, and Christians who vote for the Republicans, and even Christians who vote for Nader, etc.

While the Democrats have supported killing babies in Lebanon and Palestine, etc. I'm guessing you're not really talking about killing babies. You are talking about contraception. There is nothing in the bible which says you shouldn't have an abortion, or that it is murder. So there is no reason to label people who support abortion as not being Christian.

It is not Democrats who believe that religion should be kept out of government and politics. It is everyone who believes in the US constitution, since that is literally the very first right in the bill of rights. It is just basic common sense to keep religion out of politics and politics out of religion. Very few people want the government telling people what they can and can't believe.

True Christians supported abortion rights for hundreds of years. In fact early Christians censored anti-abortion scriptures from the Bible because they did not believe it fell in line with church teachings and the anti-abortion wing of Christianity is a modern invention...Christians didn't become anti-abortion until in 1850.
Now with that being said I don't see how Christians can exclusively vote for either party. The republicans and democrats take similiar positions on most social issues that a lot of conservative christians put much value into. In 2004, Kerry and Bush both held identical views concerning abortion rights and gay marriage; both favored Roe v Wade and were against gay marriage. Jesus, who preached of humble and good deeds, wouldn't favor the big business, anti-welfare policies of the GOP anymore he would have favored the democrat's tolerance to homosexuality.
A by the book Christian will vote for someone who best represents their interests whether they are democratic or republican.

So you are saying that if someone votes democratic then they are not christian? How do YOU define a true Christian, someone who has a stroke if they see two guys holding hands? Is your idea of a true christian someone who orders the military to beat the hell out of a virtually defenseless country? What about the solders in Iraq who are democrats. Are you saying that if they're also Christians then they are not true Christians?

Real Christians don't Vote for the Plutocrat party of the anti christ.

Christians pray for the quick destruction of the Satanic political arena.

They are in this world but not of this world.

If you don't know that what side are you serving?

True Christians try to see the heart of an individual. They don't judge people by labels.

Are you willing to allow plaques of other religious beliefs to stand alongside your christian plaques? (muslim, hindu, buhddist, wiccan, and yes....satanic?) Be careful what you speak up about...same applies to prayer in schools...the teaching of prayer belongs in church and at home...not school. If christians want prayer in school, then they better be prepared to allow ALL religious prayers in schools. Again, be careful what you speak up about...please take your pseudo-religious blinders off!

the term 'true christian' is subjective. it may be defined differently by each person. as for how christians vote, let us hope that our ballots will always secret be so that no test of our allegiance or religious affiliation will be required before we cast a vote.
