there are more nerve endings in the head of the penis then anywhere else in the body hence sensitive area

its sensitive because its the head just like the brain of your head is sensitive inside just like the head of your penis

It's supposed to be, to make you want to have sex. I assume you don't mean sensitive in a painful way . . . because that would definitely be a problem.

Are you circumcised? (is there skin that over laps your head?)
If so then thats natural.
If not maybe see a doctor about it.
