It would depend on whether you mean, in general or road legal?

The fastest car so far, is powered by jet turbines. However, the fastest road car (I believe) is the Bugatti Veyron at 252mph. The Maclaran F1 is a mere 240mph.

When you consider that 252mph is close to the speed of a Hawker Hurricane jet fighter and that Richard Hammond crashed a Jet powered Dragster at close to 280mph the Verona is Effing fast.

Probably not what you are after but the land speed record is held by Thrust2 which achieved 714 miles per hour in September 1997.

Fastest production car is probably the Koenigsegg, made in Sweden. I have actually seen one on the road!

by saying it has 4 turbo engines u certainly mean the veyron which has 4 turbo's, and a top speed of 255mph, you can also buy the henessey viper 1000TT which has the same top speed, but this is estimated as you would certainly would be foolish to test this out.
