In that new TV show "Ugly Betty", they make her out to be intentionally ugly. Check these pics out. She doesn't look ugly to me:

This show is dumb. I hate it when they have a hot girl play an ugly girl. All Ugly Betty would have to do is take them glasses and braces off and fix her hair, then she would be hot. It reminds of that movie She's all that. All that girl did was take those glasses off and fix her hair, then she was hot. It's so annoying. They should have a really ugly girl play Ugly Betty. One of those girls where there is just no hope for.

thats the point they had to get a pretty girl to look intentionally ugly because in the end shes supposed to get a huge makeover and become pretty just like "Betty La Fea" which was the spanish soap opera they got the idea for the show from. The girl on that show was pretty also.
