Mother had to receive a series of injections at home for a blood problem and I was told to dispose of them this way. I know everyone that has to use a needle is not because they are using illegal drugs, as some here implied.

Please use a plastic 2 liter bottle w/ a lid or any type/ size of plastic container w/ a screw on lid. The reason I say "please", is because once my husband was a garbage man and he grabbed a garbage bag were the bottom busted out, the trash that fell all over was full of hypadermic needles and other infectios waste. Luckily, he had gloves on and did not get poked but he could have, and the person was careless in the way they disposed their potentially deadly trash. Thank you and be safe.

There is another down the hall or on the next floor. If there is a sharps container there is someone responsible for emptying it. Ask, then find the key and change them out.

don dispose the needles in open ...this may prove dangerous to the people who dont know abt them....first boil the needles in water for atleast 15 minutes ....then arrange those needles in a bunch and wrap then in a plastic cover and just dug the ground and bury in that ........this way it wont prove toxic for others.......but if u dispose those without doin thses things then you would be responsible for the death of many....do it fast.
