Ex: My friend gave a $60 tip to a guy that did repairs in her house.

My friend is not rich, and makes minimum wage. What's the use of being generous cause I asked her who gives you TIPS OF ANY KIND IN LIFE?

I believe it is better to give, but if you are not rich or don't have spare cash, come on you'll go broke.

No. It's not lack of self-esteem. My friend was generous even as a child.

Violet, no, my friend is generous and not a show off. Very quiet and unassuming. You would never know she would tip you well.

Sometimes you just really appreciate things that people do when they go over and above the call of duty. You can look at the amount of effort or work that went into something and then see that a great tip is warranted. Most of the time you are paying to have something done that either you don't have the talent to do, don't want to take the time to do, or you are in a serious bind, so you understand what a great service someone is giving you. It really is just something about the person... if you are not a big tipper you never will be. Some 16 year old kid drives and walks through pouring rain to bring a pizza to your house because you don't want to go out into the muck... whadda do? Give him two dollars? God I hope not.

Why knock your friend for being her, she obviously enjoys and appreciates the "giving" part of life.
Maybe that's the best part that gives her joy, while she makes this minimum wage pay.
Im more than certain the guy who did repairs on her house, will NEVER forget her, and hopefully he pays it forward, and now is inspired to do something nice for someone...
I think your friend is great, should be more ppl like her in the world!

If you have never heard her complain of any act of kindness, you should either... leave her be, if she's happy, be happy for her. ♥

If the person did not charge her she might have paid more if he had. If he did charge her and she expected to pay more, she may still have paid out less than she expected and less than she was prepared to pay. Also if she needs have more repairs done this might have been a way to ensure getting good prompt service next time. Then too she may have just been trying to make a good impression on someone she liked.

I think a good job should not go unrewarded. I don't see anything wrong with this at all. I think that your friend will be greatly rewarded back for this act of kindness along with all the other great acts that they do. Good deeds will never go unrewarded in return as long as they come from the heart.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Some narcissists spend extravagantly in order to impress people, keep up grandiose pretentions, or buy favorable treatment, and some narcissists overspend, bankrupt themselves, and lose everything.

Because it is better to give than to receive. Karma, I'm sure your friend is a happy person and will be blessed for her generousity.

Best Wishes!
