Chew on this: Who was the TB quarterback this time last year when they were 5-1? Brian Griese. He's with the Bears now and is longer the focus of my answer. Point is, Chris Simms was at a point in his career where he wasn't being thrust under center (as Gradkowski is this week). Even though his playing was necessitated by the injury to Griese. Simms benefitted from a veteran team and a (at the time) phenominal rookie RB. They crumbled in the playoffs, that doesn't mean TB or Simms suck. Things happen. This Gradowski kid could go one of 2 ways. He could have a stellar game like that Harvard QB (Ryan Fitzpatrick) that STL had last year. Or stink like the Old Sombrero. Time will tell

Better without the player that's been practicing the most and has a better relationship with the team than the new guy? Not right away...but then again...Tampa was shakey all this time so they can't do worse...I'll be rooting for Tampa this week....Which is really something I don't want to do, but I have to..New Orleans had their moment of glory, it's about time they start losing some more games...well not just that...but if they lose and my Panthers win, we're ahead of them :D

So I guess Go Bucs this weekend....but Go Panthers!!

No they wont be. Simms is the person that brought the Bucs to the playoffs last year and without him, they will be nothing.
Simms is a man, he's been taking hit after hit after hit after hit even though he was bleeding from the inside. This QB is a man.

Possibly. Any quarterback can step up big for their team. It's a matter of chance as much as it is talent.

Your question implies that maybe Simms was at fault for some reason, or you might have some underlying disdain for Simms. Maybe Chuckie's to blame. After all, he's the one who decides who plays quarterback.

I think that the Bucs will start looking great and Sims has lost the starting job. Mark your calendars ladies and gentleman because Gradkowski is here for the duration of the season, in my own opinion. When Sims went out for those couple of plays when he got that spleen injured, Gradkowsli was in for three plays and rushed for something like 65 yards by himself. I mean damn. He has great enthusiasm, very mobile and agile, and acts like he loves the game. The Bucs are back.

Man, I like the Bucks, but Gradkowski is in a division that has NASTY defenses.
