In some ways, I'm more "able" than most people, but in other ways I'm incapacitated. I can't go to school, but I have a very high IQ.

The difference between being an Aspie and being blind or paraplegic is that an Aspie often has gifts, whereas you get nothing out of broken eyes or legs.

yes people with any autism spectrum disorder are considered disabled. I understand, my son is 18 and has hyperlexia, very smart but can't live on his own...the thing is that people can not see these disabilities so it is hard to get help in the first place, in the second place, not many people understand the different needs of hfa and other autism spectrum disorders so appropriate help is not always available.

I have family who are fostering children with aspergers and the agency in this state does consider it a disability.

From a spiritual point of view, I would consider it a challenge and see where it leads you. I have mild dyslexia and far from finding it a 'disability' I have found it to be my greatest strength. Having spell check is a wonderful thing too! Don't let it or rude people make you feel inferior and you should be able to craft it into your greatest treasure.

Markyyy, Markyyy, Markyyy. Are you having a blonde second? A Christian dentist will settle for all and sundry as a shopper. the purpose of merchandising they're a Christian organisation is so Christians who opt to financially help different Christians have the files. in fact, my church gave me a e-e book that identifies interior reach Christian agencies so as that i visit do precisely that (if I favor). As to the gym question...it would not be considered perfect. it could be considered unlawful...yet you understand that. EDIT: so some distance as a merchandising attitude, it would not be an useful one. Atheist, Jews, Muslims, what-have-you, might want to come to a call no longer to apply that organisation because they marketed themselves as Christian. the perfect merchandising attitude might want to be to no longer perceive your self as any faith in any respect. i do not realize why you all imagine this isn't suitable. that's no diverse than steerage human beings for your uncle's organisation because he's a relative, or the different such concern.

my brother who has Asperger,is far from being disabled. My brother works, like alot of people with Asperger,he works alone. He is in a relationship with a wonderful woman who is completely understanding with him,and understands that he can go through phases, how he doesn't like being around to many many and especially large crowds. Why can't you go to school? You seem to be aware that you have Asperger, that I think is a blessing in it self as alot of people are so unaware that they have it,get depressed, and sometimes get themselves into a black hole and unfortunately sometimes never come out.People all the world who have Asperger have gone to school, and have gone to university(have gotten degrees that allow them to work on their own,as that's what alot of them prefer).get married and have children. As you say,you have a very high IQ.,which to me you have been blessed with, and it would be a shame if you don't use it.Take care.

It depends on what side of the spectrum you're on I have high functioning asperger's so I am not really disabled and can do what most normal people can do.

aspies are considered disabled because they often have difficulty relating interacting with others adequately appropriately if an aspie could find work solo and earn a living they would not be considered too disabled

No way. A person with Asperger's is just different. Bill Gates and Albert Einstein supposedly had/have it, and do you consider them disabled? I wouldn't.
