Or, look for conversion shops like the one that will put in the 5.7 litre hemi for you.

if your just talkin like a older v-8 deisel you can get motor mounts made but ya gotta replace fuel tank-pump-all that good stuff-do some rewiring-but if your talkin like a semi deisel-theres is no way in hell-they are half the size and weight of a fully loaded jeep-plus ya gotta learn to drive a 10-13 speed and learn to float the gears lol-but with some work and alot of money its definatly possible-it would be cool if ya had a cj5 or 7 or even a wrangler-that would be different and kinda cool

The entire car is designed to be diesel, not just the engine. Fuel tank type and placement, emission control devices, the exhaust system, the fuel system from the tank to the engine, the electrical system, the placement of components under the hood, the type and location of fuel filters, water separators, the transmission, transfer case, gear ratios, engine computers, air intakes, cooling system components, all of these and more would have to be altered or redesigned. Are you sure you want to do this?

What Me again said, it is not a feasible mod, unless you have limitless funds.

If Chrysler and the other US auto makers were smart, they would have starting using turbodiesels a while ago, especially in that kind of vehicle, including SUVs.
