yes I do wish I lived a long time ago I wonder what it would be like to of lived back aruond the 1600s or maybe less, I wondered what it would be like to live in a world less populated, and not have to worry about schools getting blown or shot up with guns, and what it would be like to grow your own food and preserve it for winter, and at a time when we had brotherly love. and families were families. no computers or phones so that we could talk person to person, no taxes on our paychecks and the govrnment didnt rule. yes it would of been harder in some ways but I wish I could of been there

Sometimes I wish I could of lived in the 19th century, think Emily Bronte books. But then I think about it, it would really suck, I'm 25 and a woman, i'd be married off to someone who I most likely did not like and would have like 7 kids by now, plus i couldn't work. Being a woman in any era was tough : (

I'd love to visit 19th century America or W. Europe. I couldn't live there, though. I'm far too adjusted to the luxuries of today and all the charms of 19th century fashion (I own a reproduced Civil War era corset), rich historical events, etc. couldn't convince me otherwise.

But gosh, those boys in Union soldier wear and fitted with bayonets are just so cute =)

I would love to live in the '70's in England... or in the Wild West pre- or post- Civil War... or in pre-Christianity Europe... or Ancient Greece...

I sometimes wish that I had lived in a time when it was ok to be gay.... like ancient Greece or in a Native American tribe before the colonists came....

but there were drawbacks then as well... lots of disease and a lack of luxury items.... I REALLY like electricity and indoor plumbing.

No. All times and all cultures have had their disadvantages. At least, in this time and culture, I'm used to the drawbacks.

i don't wish i did, right now I'm very adapted to my own. but i wonder how different my life would be if i did. more in time, we take things for granted today and I'd like to see what people had to go through before technology changed everything.
