I became disabled and while waiting on the gov't for my social security disability I spent every penny I had trying to save my home.I had remodeled it and my grandkids enjoyed it so much and we had plenty of space for the whole family to get together.I sold my new car, I had paid off early, to make house payments while waiting also. I got an old car to get around in.So I lost it all and had to move into a small one bdrm apt.,with my heart broken.I finally got the SS disability about 6 mo later!I lost my Mom at the same time so I was really in a low state of mind.I am better mentally but I still miss my home.

I know how you ended up in low income housing! No education, drive, motivation, and so on!
